Governors

Welcome to our Governors' section.

The school has a Governing Body which consists of Governors, elected parents and an elected member of staff. The Full Governing Body meets a minimum of ten times per academic year.  Our Governors take responsibility for the strategic direction of the school. They hold the Head Teacher to account for standards in the school and offer guidance and support in all areas of school life.

Additionally Governors have specific areas of responsibility and these include Health & Safety, SEN, Pupil Premium, Safeguarding and Subject areas in order to monitor the progress the school is making.

Governors work closely with the Headteacher, the Senior Leadership Team and Subject Leaders.

Recent minutes of meetings of the Full Governing Body are available to read and a folder of these is located at the school.  Please contact the Clerk if you would like to access.

If you have any feedback or wish to contact the governors directly about an issue, please email the clerk at samantha.nicol@kilmersdonprimary.co.uk

The file below shows all Governors of our school over the last 12 months along with their appointing body, term of office, areas of responsibility, relevant business interests, attendance of meetings and other applicable information:

If you wish to raise a question at one of these meetings then please contact the clerk via email or the school office (01761 432283).
